Commercial transparency

Affiliate Disclosure

Plain & Frugal is free to read. This disclosure explains how future commercial links will be separated from editorial evidence.

Last updated: July 30, 2026

Current status

Plain & Frugal does not currently publish active affiliate links, paid product placements, or sponsored articles. This page is being published before those relationships begin.

How affiliate links will work

If affiliate links are introduced, Plain & Frugal may receive a commission when a reader follows a clearly identified link and makes a qualifying purchase. The reader's price is normally unchanged, but the exact arrangement depends on the retailer or program.

How links will be disclosed

A clear disclosure will appear near affiliate recommendations and before relevant links. Disclosures will not be hidden only in this policy page. Sponsored material, if ever accepted, will be labeled as sponsored.

Editorial standard

Compensation does not prove that a product is safe, effective, or economical. Product claims should still be supported by the most relevant evidence available, and a no-purchase method should not be replaced by shopping simply because a commission is possible.
